The 1948 Ford Pickup Restoration Project My father Earl, is starting a restoration project on an old classic pickup for his grandsons (my nephews). The start of the project is to actually buy a pickup, and he just found one down in Scanlon, Minnesota. I'll keep a good photo documentation of this project as is progresses. These are taken in the garage of the now former owner. We haven't hauled the truck out yet, just parts on this evening. October 27, 2005
