This mammoth tusk was found by a Yupik man named Johnny (pictured). It washed out of the Alaskan permafrost during a flood last year. The photographer (Chuck Leake) stated that he has bought and sold mammoth tusks in Alaska for over twenty years. At 14 feet long, this is the longest one he has ever purchased. He did not disclose the price.
