Day 4
August 6, 2005

Event 4
An HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter that landed right next to our housing unit.
A US Army Reservist range officer.
This woman would probably scream if she knew I took this photo of her cramming a sandwich into her face.
CMP photographer Sommer Wood. Yes, that is her name...Sommer Wood.
I'm not sure who this was, but she was an excellent rifle shooter. Note the flying brass...
A range officer approached this guy and said, "Hey! You don't have an open-bolt indicator in your rifle." The guy said, "Yeah I know, she's taking my photo." The range officer replied, "What the f*** does have anything to do with it?!"
Kristof firing prone.
This young shooter was the only guy shooting a M1 Carbine .30 in the match.
Mike "Montana" Bennett, trying to ignore the bellowing "Chuckie Choppers" who was scoring for him.
Kristof scoring for Steve, but I think he's watching me...see that Steve???. Tony firing prone. Note the flying enbloc clip and brass in the same shot.
Tony firing prone. Note the flying brass...
Tony firing prone. Note the flying enbloc clip...
Montana hamming it for the camera. That's "Chuckie Choppers" on the left.
A good view of the Viale Range pits.
This is one of the Army training dummies that pop up electrically for realistic range training for both M-16 and SAW rifles. There are about 100 of these on the range from 50 to 300 yards.
