090409-N-0000X-934 INDIAN OCEAN (April 9, 2009) In a still frame from video taken by a U.S. Navy P-3 Orion, this is the Maersk Alabama on long range thermal scan imaging, then daylight. Below that is the 28-foot lifeboat from the Maersk Alabama as seen Thursday, April 9, 2009 in the Indian Ocean. Those images were taken from a U.S. Navy ScanEagle UAV. (U.S. Navy Photos)

Picture this: Three U.S. Navy SEAL snipers perched on the fantail of the U.S.S. Bainbridge, watching and waiting. They all have direct comms into their ears, and their Commander is waiting for them to call an available shot. Three Somali "skinnies" emerge from a hatch, and our entrepid Capt. Phillips launches himself into the water. "Green Light!" BANG! All three fired apparently at once, and killed every "skinny." What a show!

The USS Bainbridge, the ship that coordinated the entire thing!
