The state-run media will eat this alive, because they do not understand it. Keep your weapon concealed (as licensed) until it comes out like on a damn spring and flies out like a hornet at a bad guy when needed.

This part is priceless: at Minute 1:53 of the interview, Matthews asks, “Was your gun loaded today?” – Check out the look on Kostric’s face.
Kostric: “Wow. Who would be silly enough to carry an unloaded firearm?”
Only a fool would ever carry an unloaded weapon visibly into public. Actually, only a fool would ever have an available weapon ever not loaded. It should be argued (by me, and other professionals) that openly carrying a weapon is creating a hazard, and really should not be done. This guy was obviously making a political point, and he was totally within the law to do what he did, but it was foolish.
