The Toneman Scores a Video Poker Jackpot
So I was down at the Safari Club International Dinner Banquet with Ben and Herms at the Hinckley Grand Casino. They were working the multimedia portion of the Banquet, so I didn't get to visit much with them while the event was going on. After we all got to hang out together in our hotel rooms after midnight, I went downstairs to the Casino in the wee hours of Sunday morning before finally going to sleep, and felt the urge to throw a $20 bill into the nearest video poker machine. Betting five quarters at a time for the max payout, on the third deal I was dealt a natural Royal Flush! Spades, even! The machine started going nuts and ringing bells and such, and eventually a manager came over and congratulated me and asked if I wanted the $2205.00 in cash or check. Obviously I said cash. So I wagered $3.75 and won $2205.00, LOL! After getting my stack of $100 bills, I went upstairs and woke up Ben and he came down and took this photo with his phone camera. I looked it up and the odds are almost 650,000 to 1 to get a Royal Flush. And I got it on the third bet!
